Vacuum Transfer Dust Systems

How it Works: California Blow Pipe offers cost effective solutions for converting equipment vacuum transfer blowers. With our designs, there are not messy water clean-up or compressed air connections. All Dust Laden air is conveyed back into your main scrap waste bailing system, Allowing maintenance to handle production, providing a cleaner finished product without the contamination of dust. California Blow Pipes’ Systems do not store any dust material in the unit, and supplies a dirty air material heavy duty blower 7.5HP / 10HP depending on the application.

So why a material handling wheel for just dust? with over 60 years of experience in the industry, California Blow Pipe has noticed corrugator pieces and ink being conveyed through the converting machines vacuum transfer manifold. This is due to existing and dated machine designs or random power shutoffs. The heavy duty blower conveys all dust / material back to the converting machines main scrap blower. The Dust Return Blower is also connected to the cyclone clean air filter. The filters have a Merv 12 Rating, which is good for PM10 Particles and has an efficiency rating of 98%. Because the unit does have not an enclosed filter, nor store material, it meets all NFPA, FM Global, and OSHA Requirements. The Clean Air Filter unit has a pneumatic gauge to measure the pressure inside of the filter box unit, once the set limit is reach, The filters will need to cleaned or exchanged out with another set. The Filters can be easily cleaned out with compressed air or water. Customers typically purchase a second set to decrease downtime and prevent delays in production.

Our Floor Mounted filter box design allows easy access compared to the filter boxes typically located top of the cyclone, which requires a ladder or aerial equipment to access. If the machine is not supplied with a vacuum transfer manifold, we can customize a modification that works with the customers’ existing equipment.
